first car.

So, guess who got a new car?.....

I DID!

Last week, my dad decided to buy me a car! Crazy, right? I'm actually still in shock about the whole thing. He just bought it around lunch time and by the time I got out of work that day, he drove it to my job and surprised me with it! Wish it had a bow on it though like the ones on the commercials. Haha. Just kidding! It's soooo pretty! He got me the 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer in white.

One of my favorite things about the car is that I don't need a key to start it! As long as I have the key with me, I'm good to go! There are also these buttons on the door handles that I can just press to unlock and lock the car. Talk about being lazy...haha! I also love that it has Bluetooth! If you know me at all, you know music is a must have for me in the car, so to have it connect to my phone is pretty darn awesome!

Well, I really don't know what else to say about it. I'm no Michelle Rodriguez from Fast and the Furious. I know nothing about specs of cars. All I know is that my car is all wheel drive, it runs smoothly, and that I have really nice looking rims. Haha! Man, I'm a typical girl. =P

Here are some pictures! Enjoy!

PS.
I still don't have a name for it yet. Any suggestions for names for my baby? Let me know! =)

book three. (2015)

Reading: The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing by Marie Kondo

I don't know what it is about the month of March, but I noticed that just like last year, I didn't finish my book three. I'm thinking it's the weather. It's not quite Spring-like weather yet. It's still chilly and the sun hasn't come out full force, which is probably why I'm not as motivated to read. Haha. Also, the book I picked doesn't have a plot. It's more like a guide on how to organize and get rid of unnecessary items in your household. The author does throw in little stories about her own personal life and some stories about some of her clients as examples. They're pretty interesting and funny cause I can relate to them, but I just can't seem to power through the book even though I'm half way done with it. Very disappointed with myself once again. Let's hope book four will be much better!

book two. (2015)

Reading: Shopaholic to the Stars by Sophie Kinsella

Book two, check!

During this past holiday season, I was looking around to see what books I could put on my wish list and saw that another book was released under the Confessions of a Shopaholic series. I really liked the series (definitely more than the movie -- which was enjoyable, but I felt it could have been better) and instead of putting it on my list, I decided to save it as one of my books of the month.

In this book, Becky is back in the US and has temporarily moved to LA with her husband Luke and daughter Minnie. To occupy het time during her stay, she decides she wants to become a fashion stylist to the stars (hence the title haha). She then finds herself in all kinds of trouble as usual. Her journey is interesting and a bit funny at times. It makes you wonder if it's that easy to become known in Hollywood these days and if some celebrities really do behave the way Kinsella portrays them in the book. The ending was a bit disappointing/frustrating cause it really left you hanging for the next book (you'll understand what I mean if you read the book -- gotta love cliff hangers haha) that hopefully will come out in the near future.

This was another easy book to read through, which was perfect for this short month of February. It was pretty entertaining and one of those books you can either read before bed or read to kill some time. Like I mentioned, I love the series, but I just don't know how much more Becky can continue on. I just hope the ideas don't get so far fetched that I lose interest in Becky. Haha. I guess we'll find out in the next book.

brokenhearted.

This past Monday, my family and I all lost a piece of our hearts.  Our beloved dog, Simba, passed away.  He was 11 years old and we've had him since he was only a little baby (at 6 months old). It's been about 5 days since he's been gone and I'm still in denial. The whole thing was so unexpected, which I think makes it so difficult for me and my family to deal with right now.

It's been so hard to be alone cause I burst into tears every time I am. I've actually been keeping my mom company in her room cause I end up just thinking about him if I'm by myself and I know how sad she is that he's no longer with us. I've gone to work these past few days expecting him to be there at the door to say goodbye to me or greet me, but he's not. I hate not hearing the little pitter patter of his paws walking around the house following my mom, his heavy breathing (hehe), and him just bursting into my room to say hi to me. He was such a great dog. He was so friendly, sweet, and seriously one of the cutest Pugs I've ever seen. I'm not just saying that either cause he was our dog, but he was really very handsome. He could have been a dog model. Haha. And everyone just loved him. I just hope he was as happy as he made us. I miss him so much.

Well, I think I'm just gonna end this here. I feel the tears coming...

I love you Simba Bimba...always & forever.

"If love alone could have kept you here, you would have lived forever."
