who does that?!

So, I received my graduation photo in the mail the other day...

And my first reaction to the envelope is WTF ("Why the face?!")?!

I mean, I'm sure the people at the Post Office don't know who I am (let's hope...haha), but I feel so violated. LOL. It's like "Thanks Grad Images! I'm so grateful that you put a little window to show how my picture turned out." By the way, the picture was horrible. That's why I put the little white spot there. Sorry! Haha. But yeah...all three photos were taken from bad angles and they...I mean I look absolutely terrible in them. My double chins were saying "Hi! I'm graduating today!" Haha.

Well, that's it. I just felt I needed to vent about that. Haha. Hope you guys have a great weekend!

hilarious!

I guess I should start off by saying how cute it is that the guy I'm dating is friends with my dad on Facebook. A couple of days ago my dad actually greeted him Happy Birthday and I thought it was sweet. He even went back in time (AOL days) and wrote it like this... "HaPpY, hApPy BiRtHdAy, ERIC! :)" Isn't my dad just adorable? Haha.

Anyway, before I go to bed, I have this ritual where I check my Facebook. I don't know why. It's pretty dumb, but that's what I do. I'm sure I'm not the only one who does this. Haha.

So before I tucked myself into bed, I went on my Facebook account and what do I see? Eric thanking my dad and greeting him Happy Father's Day. Cute. *Brownie points* =) Then my dad commented back...........

After reading this, I was like...."WTF ("Why the face?!")?! Did my dad just write to him in Tagalog (Native Filipino language) knowing that he doesn't understand? And did he really just greet him Happy Father's Day?! Is there something they both know that I don't?" Haha. Oh man..I could not stop laughing. I eventually told my dad, but apparently my dad thought it was his friend Eric, who actually has kids, greeting him. He couldn't stop laughing himself. It was definitely a cute mistake. Oh how I love my Papa!

catch up.

Instead of writing on my beautiful blog earlier, I decided to look through my old Tumblr account and stumbled upon a conversation I had posted between me and my (guy) best friend Richy.

---------

phoebe:i can't marry for money
phoebe:like if he's really ugly...how the hell am i suppose to have sex with him?
richy:shit i would
phoebe:lol
richy:hahahaha
phoebe:lol
phoebe:ewwwwwwwwww
richy:my IM came at the wrong time
richy:hahaha
phoebe:yeah it did
phoebe:LOL

I just thought it was hilarious and completely forgot we even had that conversation. I swear, journals are truly great. Whether it's a physical journal or an online blog, it's just so great to look back on happy and sad memories that I've had. Life gets so hectic nowadays that you tend to forget a lot of the good memories you've had. And the sad ones, well they act as great reminders to never make the same mistakes again.

I know it's been a while since my last update and I've broken so many promises, but here are some pictures that will help you catch up with me.

---------

My sister Pam's wedding. Pam and Angelo aka Elo, had a beautiful small civil ceremony and small gathering afterwards in my backyard. Close family and friends were in attendance. Congratulatioins again! Love you guys! Time to give me some nieces and nephews! =D

Meet the family. =)

---------

The week after, work took me to a convention in Chicago, IL. The windy city...and boy, was it windy! It was freakin cold as heck! I felt like I went back to winter even though it was already May! But besides the cold, the city was gorgeous. I appreciate architecture so much more after my visit. The buildings and the overall view of the city was absolutely beautiful.

The clouds covering the buildings were so cool to see.
View from the top. Look at the giant silver bean! Haha

My sisters and I enjoying the architectural boat tour. So cold I tell ya!
Me and my coworkers.

And finally....GRADUATION!!! I am finally a college graduate! Can you believe it?! I'm actually still in denial. All my hard work and late night papers have paid off! I now have to be an adult and face reality! Haha. The ceremony took place at the Javits Center in Manhattan and went out to dinner with my whole family...minus my new BIL...to The Crab House in Edgewater, NJ. The food was absolutely delicious and we had a great view of NYC! Man, I wanna go back! I'm definitely craving some crabs right now...Haha.

My friend Cassandra and me before walking in.

View from my seat.

Me and my proud brother! Wish I had some pictures with my parents.
They were both camera shy. I still love them!

The siblings (minus the BIL) taking some pictures before dinner.

And there you have it folks! Before I go, I know I completely skipped May on this blog, but I want to say Happy Mother's Day to my mom! And since it's June, Happy Father's Day to my Papa! Words cannot begin to express how grateful I am to have both of them in my life. They are such caring and supportive parents. What more can a girl ask for? I love them so much!
