badly.

Guys, I'm in dire need of a haircut. My side bangs are nowhere to be found and the ends are starting to look all dry. I hate seeing it this way! Sometimes I wish I had my very own hairstylist that would make me look fabulous each and everyday! Actually, I'm pretty sure I'm not the first to ever say that. But yes, I know I'm not as lucky as the Kardashian sisters who most likely have someone to help them with their everyday look. Haha. I just want my hair to look healthy, chic, and fabulous! I want to be able to go from working all day to a red carpet event at night! Man, my imagination has run wild tonight! Like I'll ever be on the red carpet! Haha. Well, a girl can dream right?

I'm also looking into dying my hair again. Possibly highlights, but I'm not sure. I feel like I need some color in my life again. All throughout high school, I've always dyed my hair. Then around my sophomore year of college, I decided to grow it out and get back to my natural color. It took me about 2 and half years(?) to grow it out. I'm afraid once I make the change, I'm going to regret it. Oh decisions of a college graduate! Haha.

Here you go guys....My hair through the years.... and notice how rounder my face gets! Haha!! It's ok though because I plan on losing weight in the next couple of months! I swear!! I really need to lose weight badly too! And I can't wait!

A year after high school. Notice the orange hair.

Then I decided to cut it all off and wanted to look like a teacher at the same time.

In the process of growing it out.

As soon as it got long enough, I decided I wanted to get me some side bangs.

And kept the bangs for a really long time....

And how I currently look. Bangs are long and tucked in all the time. Haha

I don't think I'll be going anytime soon to the salon with my sisters so I have some time to think this over. Comments and opinions are welcome, but be nice. Haha! I hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

practice.

Hey guys!

So over the weekend, I didn't get any organizing done; however, I was able to practice for what I like to call Project S.A.D. Also known as my Valentine's Day gift for my single girlfriends. I made some chocolate cupcakes with purple vanilla frosting. Of course, my mom suggested to put a lot of butter in it as I was making them. She loves butter on everything. I think I saw her snacking on a stick of butter one day. I swear she's like the Filipino version of Paula Dean. Haha. Anyway, my best friend Lyssa would be so proud to know that I did, in fact, use her birthday present for me. The frosting deco pen was oh so much fun to use! Yes, I know the decorations are a bit amateurish, but like stated in previous blogs, I'm not that creative. I tried my best and definitely will try to make the ones for Project S.A.D. more fun looking. Haha. I also want to give a big THANKS to Peejay for helping me frost them and for putting up with my bossy-ness! I like being Cake Boss! Love ya!! =D

In honor of the Superbowl, which is in a couple of weeks, I'd like to share a picture of my baby. He's all ready to play and watch! Ain't he cute?!

projects.

I have been finished with school for about a month now (woohoo!) and I've talked about the different projects I wanted to start when I finally have free time. Have I started? Nope. Of course not. It's just been so hard to get started. Long days at work and the cold does not help. Any ideas on how I can motivate myself? Maybe I should make a list and just go in the order written. Yes? I think it's the best thing for me to do. I'll write it during my down time at work tomorrow. =) Oh yay! I'm getting a little excited about this! Haha I think I just motivated myself!

What are some of the projects I have in mind? Well...I definitely need to organize my room and get rid of a lot things I do not use anymore. I have to be honest though, my closet has gotten better. That's actually one of the projects I've started like weeks ago and I'm close to being finished. I just need to go through one more section of it and donate. Then I need to tackle my desk. Oh boy, that one is going to be a pain! Haha. Another project I want to do is make cupcakes. I know, that's like the easiest thing in the world to do, but my best friend Lyssa got me this fun frosting deco pen for my birthday and I'm so excited to use it! I'm actually thinking about making cupcakes and giving them to my single friends for Valentine's Day (aka S.A.D. = Singles Awareness Day!)

Now doesn't that pen look so much fun to use?! Besides decorating, you can also use it to put surprise fillings in cupcakes! And instead of baking them in the oven, I'm going to use what my other best friend Sheila got me for Christmas. The Bella Cucina Cupcake Maker!

It makes 7 perfectly shaped cupcakes and only takes less than 10 minutes! Well, that' what I read, but we'll see. As soon as I make them, I'll take some pictures and share them with you guys. =)

Well this girl needs to get to bed. Have a great Friday!

getting older.

So, yesterday was my birthday.

Yes, I turned the big 2-5! The day didn't start off the way I had liked, but I did love waking up to the 493,509 notifications that I received on Facebook.

Word of advice: If your birthday is approaching and have Facebook connected through your cellphone, make sure you turn off your cell the night before or else Facebook will wake you up at 6 in the morning!

Yup! I woke up at 6 in the morning and had a fight with someone special, which lasted until dinner time. So all morning, I was one tired and crabby birthday gal. I think I was also crabby because I knew I am now an old fart! The day before, my co-workers and I were talking about how scary the internet is because you can pretty much find out anyone's information like a person's address, phone number, and even social security number, which is soo scary! So I decided to look up my name and lo and behold, there was my name! It listed my mom's name and my siblings and even my address! So scary!! It also had my age range, which is the whole point of this story! Haha! It said "Mid-20's." I can't believe I am now in the "Mid-20's" range. It's so weird! I clearly remember being 15 years old and planning my Sweet 16 birthday party and also talking to one of my best friends about where we wanted to be at the age of 25. I remember saying I wanted to be engaged at 25, which I am nowhere near! She, on the other hand, wanted to have fun and focus on her career. She actually is the one who is now married with a beautiful baby girl! It's just so funny how life turns out. I have learned that even though you're not where you want to be or plan to be, you just have to let it ride. You don't plan your life, God does. Things really do happen for a reason and they happen because He just wants what's best for you.

Anyway, after work, my siblings, a few of my cousins and my close friends came out to dinner with me. We went to one of my favorite Italian restaurants and I just had the best time. Great food and great company is exactly what I wanted for my birthday! So if any of you guys are reading, I just wanted to say THANK YOU for coming out! I appreciate all that you do for me and I love you guys with all of my heart!

I will try to post some pictures in the next couple of days or once my sister Peejay gives them to me. Haha! =) But for now, I shall go. If you don't hear from me in the next couple of days, I hope you all have a great week!

A NEW YEAR!

So, school is finally done! Thank goodness! I also wanted to share the fact that this year I actually got my Christmas shopping finished on time! I didn't have to go through that whole last minute shopping stress. Also, the last minute wrapping! I had so much fun wrapping the gifts this year! I wasn't in any hurry so I got to make it look pretty and put ribbons on it instead of the bows I usually just stick on. Haha. I got pretty fancy this year with my gift wrapping...well it's pretty fancy to me. I had a theme and everything! This is how it looked like... Can you guess the theme?

Haha. Yes, I'm a dork. But I must say the "not feeling so rushed" feeling was great and I'm definitely going to do it again next year...I really meant to say this year. =)

Forgive me, but I'm pretty tired now and might call it a night. However, I feel really horrible for not updating sooner, so I leave you with some eye candy!

Visiting Jay-R and trying to plot to steal the little penguin on his tree. =P
