march photo a day - day twenty-eight, day twenty-nine, day thirty & day thirty-one.

I decided to wrap the month of March in one post. I just received April's photo a day challenge and I might do it again. I figured it's a good way to get to know me. =)

Day twenty-eight.

I think I've mentioned this before, but I'm not the neatest person ever. It's a little embarrassing, but you know what? That's who I am and trust me, I am working on it. I've actually been a lot better lately, which I'm super proud of. But as you can see, I like to leave trash on my desk. Well, so does my sister Peejay. Junk mail, tissues, and junk food...you'll find it there. Peejay just loves to leave her junk food or garbage on my desk. Haha. =P

Day twenty-nine.

I absolutely love dipping my feet in the pool! It's so refreshing especially with a glass of Sangria in one hand. I cannot wait for days like these. I'm going to make sure to have the best summer this year.

Day thirty.

This is my doll/toy Phobe. I've had her since who knows when, but I still remember the day I got her. I saw her at this table at the mall where they were trying to get people to sign up for some credit card and being the bratty kid that I was, I somehow convinced my dad to sign up and I got the doll. He didn't seem to mind especially since he kept making fun of how it looked so much like me. =) Oh, I just love my Papa!

Day thirty-one.

This is one of the places where I like to relax....my bed. Sometimes I'll have a guest (ahem..Bella haha) share it with me. I just love how comfy it is. It's one of those places where you can't wait to get to after a long day at work.

Well, tomorrow is April. I can't believe how fast this year is going. I think I need to start writing down my list of things to do once the weather gets nicer. Stay tuned! I'll try to create a good post for that one!

march photo a day - day twenty-six & day twenty-seven.

Day twenty-six.

Now who doesn't love my Tinkerbell house key and everything else that's on there? As you can see, it's like I'm back in middle school and I'm sporting the long keychain like it's my old Tommy Hilfiger one. But this time I'm not leaving it hanging out of my pocket or bag nor am I going to wear it around my neck. Haha. I also own a whole bunch of those store cards, clearly. I looked at them after I took this picture and realized that I haven't been to 6 out of 8 of those stores that are on there. I wonder if I should take them off or should I just start shopping there again? Haha
.

Day twenty-seven.

This is a necklace my bff Lyssa got me on one of her many trips to Seaside Heights, NJ. The thing that makes this necklace super special to me is the fact that my name is written on a tiny rice grain! She knows how much I hate that my name isn't common enough and will never ever be able to find it on mugs or keychains so she bought me this necklace with my name on it! It's super unique and I love it!. Thanks Lyssa!

march photo a day - day twenty-four & day twenty-five.

Day twenty-four.

An old photo, but it features one of my favorite animals of all time. PENGUINS! They're are just so adorable! I have no idea where and when my obsession started, but I love collecting little penguin things. Just ask anyone who has seen my bedroom. Ask that person how many penguin items I own and they'll tell you that it's a lot. Haha.

Day twenty-five.

Doesn't this breakfast look so delicious?! Went to this little breakfast place in New Jersey a long time ago and it serves large portions of everything! And the food was pretty good too! I need to go back ASAP! Who wants to come with?!

march photo a day - day twenty-three.

An old picture, but this is one of the only pictures I have of the moon. This was taken on one of our walks in Maine back in 2006. This picture does not even show how beautiful the way the moon glistened off the water. It was such a pretty sight. It's one of those "you had to be there" moment. Wish I was able to capture it on camera, but this was the best we could do.

march photo a day - day eighteen, day nineteen, day twenty, day twenty-one & day twenty-two.

Sorry all! It has been a very busy and tiring week for me so it has taken me some time to complete this photo a day challenge.

Day eighteen.

So here is a corner of my home...well more like my room. Although I don't really show it or talk about it, I'm rather proud of these three pieces on my wall. They're my daily reminders of how much I've accomplished in my life thus far. I am very blessed and will be forever grateful to God and my wonderful parents to have had the opportunity to finish high school, receive my Associate's Degree, and my Bachelor's Degree despite my attitude towards school at times. Haha.

Day nineteen.

I often joke about Peejay's hair and how puffy it is. Sometimes it gets so puffy she looks like a completely different person. She sometimes looks like Diana Ross. =P I took this photo the other day and I just thought this photo was hilarious. My favorite thing about Easter season is the Crunch chocolate eggs that they sell. =)  So I thought it was funny to joke about her hair even more and put those Crunch eggs in her hair. Now doesn't it look like a bird's nest?! Haha!!

Day twenty.

For the before and after picture, I decided it had to be a photo of my Goddaughter Kyleigh and me. I recently got to see her this past weekend and I can't believe how big she's gotten. The before photo was taken at her baptism. She was still a little baby then! The after photo was taken at the mall during our little shopping trip this past weekend. Isn't she adorable? She's so grown up now and even picks out her own clothes! She didn't even like any of the suggestions I gave her at the mall except for this Hello Kitty hat. I got her to match with me for a little bit! Haha. I swear she has the cutest laugh you'll ever hear. Wish I recorded it. Melts my heart. I just <3 her! Can't wait to see her again...hopefully soon!

Day twenty-one.

Such a blurry picture, but I don't care. This is the delicious treat that I'm craving for at the moment. I don't know one person that does not like Chili's Molten Chocolate Cake! I mean what's not to like? Warm chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream with a touch of caramel? Oh man... I think my mouth just watered. Haha. Definitely going to try to one this weekend. Who's with me?!

Day twenty-two.

I don't understand today's photo. I have absolutely nothing interesting to say about our kitchen sink. It's not that interesting really. Haha. My sister and I are thinking about giving our whole kitchen a make over so when that day comes and we have a nicer looking sink and it does a cool trick or something, then I'll post a picture of it. Haha.

By the way, it's officially spring time!! I'm so happy about the beautiful weather we've been having! Let's keep it going! I can finally put my winter jackets away! =)

march photo a day - day fifteen, sixteen & seventeen.

Day fifteen.

A car we saw in Ocean City, MD while walking to the beach. Now how cool would it be to drive the Batmobile? I mean, clearly this isn't the real deal, but just the thought is pretty cool. You'd totally score some cool points if you drove that bad boy down the street. Haha.

Day sixteen.

I love this photo of me and my sister Pam. I took this photo on our way back home from Ocean City. Aren't you just loving my $5 sunglasses from H&M? They are one of my faves. They can break and I won't care cause I can buy myself another for $5. Haha. But for the record, I haven't. They're still in good condition. I just choose to wear different ones now.

Day seventeen.

So in honor of the Knicks winning tonight on St. Patrick's Day, I'd like to present you my green Stoudemire jersey. =) Let's Go Knicks!

march photo a day - day fourteen.

The clouds were beautiful that day. It was my first time seeing that place and it was absolutely breathtaking. I hate how such a terrible thing happened there, but I can see why you were there in the first place. I miss you everyday.  <3

march photo a day - day thirteen.

Well, I didn't necessarily take this photo, but I was there when it was taken. This sign is one of my favorites. We were at this cute vintage looking diner in this small town and saw this sign. I just love it and it's something I've been trying to do lately...keeping my sunnyside up.

march photo a day - day twelve.

So, this is my childhood fork. It's super skinny and has a picture of a cat at the bottom. It's actually pretty cute. I have no idea where we got it from, but it's always been in our kitchen along with a matching spoon. I used to always eat everything with it. I remember getting upset one time cause I saw my brother using it. I am was such a baby. Haha.

march photo a day - day ten and eleven.

Day ten.

You know who's loud? This little guy....

Especially in this state. Oh man...this guy snores so loud. I'm pretty sure if my best friend Lyssa slept over, she would have a hard time trying to sleep. Right, Lyssa? Haha. It's funny cause he sleeps right outside my door, so you hear this flat faced baby snoring the night away...along with my parents. Haha.

Day eleven.

Well, this is my best friend Lyssa. We've known each other since the 1st grade. Our grandmothers were really good friends and that's how we met....through them. We didn't start hanging out until 6th grade though. I have no clue why. Maybe we thought we were too cool to hang out with one another. Haha. Just kidding. But she's been my best friend ever since. She's the best and I love her!

She's one of the people I talked to today. We have been so busy lately, that we were finally able to hang out today and catch up. I love how we can go weeks and weeks without speaking, but when we're finally in a room together, we pick up right where we left off. =)

march photo a day - day eight and nine.

Can you guys tell I'm starting to slack off a bit?

Once again, I fell asleep last night and was actually almost late for work cause I couldn't get up! Haha. Sooo not good. I need to catch up on sleep or something this weekend so I'm nice and fresh next week.

Anyway, here's day eight.

This is the window in my very own room at work. It was super slow yesterday morning, but the sun was out and it was just beautiful. I even went for a walk after lunch with Peejay cause it was that nice out. Definitely Spring weather or what I like to call the perfect weather.

Day nine.

This past week, I've been trying to save money by bringing my own lunch to work. Today was the only day I didn't because we ran out of ham and turkey. Haha. So, Peejay and I decided that we would treat ourselves to some Wendy's. When I opened the bag, I saw that they changed the way they packaged their ketchup. It's so cute and pretty cool! You can either dip or squeeze! I wish they start making this for all fast food restaurants. It's just much easier! I mean not like I eat at fast food restaurants often, but when I do, it'd be nice. Haha. And what a better way to show the color red for my day nine challenge.

march photo a day - day six and seven.

Sorry I missed yesterday's post. I didn't get much sleep the other night. I was just really tired and passed out. Haha. Well here are the photos from yesterday and today.

Day Six.

This 5PM shot was so not creative like some of the ones I've seen on Instagram, but a lot of people took a picture of what they were doing at that time and so I decided to show you what I did. I opened a bag of Sweet Tarts at work. Haha. Sweet Tarts are definitely one of my favorite candies of all time. I had bought this bag to share with my coworkers on Valentine's Day, but I got sick and was definitely not in the mood for any candy. I completely forgot about it until the other day. =)

Day Seven.

For this day, I'm supposed to show you guys something I wore. I wasn't sure whether it was supposed to be something I wore in the past or today. Well, this is something I wear everyday. I sometimes wish I had that job where you have to get dolled up in pant suits or skirts and heels, but I don't and I consider this a blessing that I don't need to. I get to save money cause I won't be shopping like every month for new outfits and accessories. My awesome job actually provides me with this lovely maroon colored scrubs. It'll also be hard to be late for work cause I won't have trouble figuring out what to wear.

To be honest, I'm a little sick of this color. My goal is to convince the big guys at work to change the color soon. Haha. I hope my boss is reading this. *Ahem Pamela.. =P

knicks.

My life after the Super Bowl has been pretty uneventful. *Notice the lack of blog posts. Work, work, and work is all I've been doing. I've neglected my poor little blog once again because of pure laziness. I've been too lazy and tired to think of fun and entertaining posts until something wonderful happened just two weeks ago! Well as most of you know, my sister Peejay and I are HUGE Knicks fans. When we're not working, you can find the two of us on the couch eating and probably watching a Knicks game.

So once again, The Garden of Dreams Foundation had their annual telethon during one of the games and for every $100 donation, they gave a raffle ticket to each person for a chance to win one of their awesome prizes. So of course this is something Peejay wanted to do again, since our prize last year was amazing. A week after donating, she gets a phone call from this woman, who by the way has such a cool job cause she works for MSG and probably gets to see those basketball players a lot haha, telling her she won the "Walt Clyde Frazier Experience." You are probably wondering what that experience entail...well, she won two tickets to a game, a basketball signed by Walt Clyde Frazier and a chance to meet the Knicks legend himself before the game! The woman was also kind enough to let us watch the players shoot around before the game! It was so awesome being able to walk on center court again! Here's a picture of me and Peejay with Walt Clyde Fraizer before the Knicks game against the Atlanta Hawks.

Notice how I wore heels cause last time I looked like a small ant next to John Starks. Haha.

Chillin center court with Peejay. Oh wait..look! It's the Knicks' very own rookie Iman Shumpert behind me! Haha

Now just a whole bunch of pictures of the team practicing before the game.

It was such a great experience and definitely something I can cross off my Bucket List...again! =)

Let's Go Knicks!
