christmas recap.

(Belated) Merry Christmas all!!

I promise I didn't neglect you! I have just been so busy with my Christmas projects and shopping that after I finished all of them, I was super exhausted to do anything else!  Well, as promised, I said I would post a picture of my creations and here it is!

I knitted the girls cowls! Complete with my own labels on the inside that said With Love, Phoebe Jan. I was quite proud of them. I've made scarves and a beanie before, but it would take me at least a month to finish one project. I finished FOUR in a month or so! It was a big accomplishment for me! I think that might have been the fastest I've ever knitted in my life. After I finished the last one, my hands were super swollen the next day. I wish took a picture of them! They looked like little finger sausages. Sooo gross! It was pretty hard putting on gloves at work too. Haha.

Anyway, I gave them their gifts at Sheila's little holiday dinner four days before Christmas and I think they liked it...at least that's what they told me. Haha. Christmas Eve was spent shopping at Target, of course. No, I wasn't doing any last minute shopping. I was actually just shopping around for me! I tried taking advantage of their Christmas sales since I'm awesome and finished my shopping on time! Then had dinner at home with the family and opened gifts after midnight. The next day my family and I went to my aunt and uncle's house where we did more eating and laughing. It was such a great Christmas this year. I was definitely in the Christmas spirit and I just love spending time with my family.
